I am deeply saddened to hear of Bill's passing-feel like I knew him. Was just coping with the death of Philip Craig and was thrilled to find the three books these two outdoorsmen co-wrote. I am reading my 18th Tapply book of this summer!!!! What a wonderful author! May he rest in peace!

I met Mr. Tapply when I was a student at Western Carolina University. He was a guest speaker for my writing class, led by his friend and fellow author Rick Boyer. I loved how their title characters made cameo appearances in each others books. The bookshelf won't be the same without more Brady Coyne adventures. Life is too short!
