I wish to express my sorrow for your loss. I recently took up the sport of fly fishing and read my first article by Bill last week. I will be reading a lot more in the future. I know what you all have been going through since I recently finished chemo for colon cancer. I know the courage it took for Bill and all of you.

So sorry to hear about the death of William G. Tapply. I just finished reading Hell Bent and was telling my husband how good the book was. Came to his website to check out his other books and was so sorry to hear he had passed away.
I am now going to go back and read all his brady coyne books. Love the characters.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your family. I first met Philip Craig when he spoke to our book club here on the Cape over 10 years ago. I have collected all his books and through them met Brady Coyne and Bill Tapply. I fast became of fan of Bill's and have most of his books, including some of his essays on fishing and the outdoors. When a loved author dies, you not only lose the person but all the characters they have created. Bill's books were totally enjoyable. I would tell myself to read them slowly but quickly got pulled in and read them in one or two days. I knew there were health problems but was shocked to come here and read of his death. William Tapply will be much missed.

I just became a fan and while doing a search for a list of books I read about Mr. Tapply's passing. I am so upset by the news. I'll be back at the library tomorrow for more, as many more as I can take out.

I was shocked and saddened by Mr. Tapply's death. I have read almost all his works of fiction, including those written with Philip Craig, and introduced them to my son who has devoured them. After a while, I came to believe that I knew him. His characters were believable and I will miss them. My sincere condolences to the family. I know that many people will feel like I do--that we have lost a dear friend.
