Both Willam and his Father taught me to find joy in the outdoors. I labored every month to learn and replicate every "Taps Tips" I could find. Later Williams stories took me to places that dreams are made of. Now the world is missing two of its best souls. Tight Lines and perfect casts where ever your soul takes you. Thank you for giving me a life in the outdoors!

What a legacy. I will sorely miss reading the characters that I have come to love. I especially loved Stony Calhoun. I am sorry for your families loss.

My husband and I are greatly saddened by the news of Bills passing. We are both avid readers of his and Phil Craig's books. When they both died, so did their characters that we've come to know and love. Both authors had a clean, readable style that is rare in this time of sensationalism where authors feel they must muck up their books with foul language and torrid sex scenes in order to sell them. These men had enough talent to not have to resort to gimmicks to sell their work. They will both be greatly missed.

Condolances to the family, and to us who will miss his talent. These Stony Calhoun books have brought me pleasure and escape. I'll read this latest one with a twinge.

Bill's death is a great loss to lovers of mystery fiction. I've been a fan since Charity Point. May you rest in peace, Bill
