He was a wonderful writer and story-teller. It is our loss. I have just ordered his last two books from Amazon and will miss looking for the next one.

I've read every mystery he's written, including those he wrote with Philip Craig. I will truly miss the wonderful characters. I felt like I knew them all personally. I understand there are a couple other books he finished before he passed away. Will they be published in the near future? Please!!!!

While I never met Bill or his dad, I was an avid reader of both of them. I am a past president of the Farmington River Anglers Assoc. and I know Bill loved our river as much as I do. I will miss his books greatly.

I am so saddened to hear of Mr. Tapply's passing. I just finished reading Bitch Creek and I enjoyed it very much. As a Maine native living in York County, I was delighted to read about towns and areas that I know. I've come to think of Stoney Calhoun as a friend and I look forward to reading the next two novels. Mr. Tapply surely had a way with words and his affection for the lovely state of Maine is apparent in his writing. Rest in peace, Mr. Tapply.
