Just found out today of Bill's passing. I have always loved his books and looked forward to reading anything he wrote. I will miss his beautiful writing.

I, too, have just learned of Mr. Tapply's passing. I'm very saddened by this news and will miss terribly one of my favorite authors. I've read ALL of his books and reading his last Brady Coyne book will be bittersweet. My prayers go out to his family. XOXO

I first discovered the wonderful world of Brady Coyne in the library at Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York City. My husband was battling leukemia, and I was looking for anything to distract myself for a few hours a day. I am devastated to hear of Mr. Tapply's passing, and only recently learned of the loss of Phillip Craig as well. I will dearly miss the world of JW and Brady and the times they came together to solve a mystery. I feel as though I have lost dear friends today. I offer my most sincere condolences to Mr. Tapply's family. We have lost a great artist.

What a loss!! I just discovered William Tapply by chance and just read "Bitch Creek" and finished it in one day. Although I have all his other books to look forward to I am so sad that there won't be any more. Based on the one book I read I know I will love all his other works. He sounds like he was a wonderful person in addition to being a great writer. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I just finished reading the latest Stoney Calhoun novel, "Dark Tiger", having just discovered this series a few months ago. Found this site and was saddened deeply to read of the author's passing. Now I plan to start reading the Brady Coyne series, looks like that will keep me busy for a while. I really, really enjoyed the Stoney Calhoun books, Im still stunned that there won't ever be another. - John
