Like many others, I have become a fan of Bill's novels. As a writer myself, I decided it was time for me to make contact and tell him how much I enjoyed
his work. I was shocked and saddened to learn that I was too late. However, I will g on reading his work until I've read it all and relish in his writing gift. Best to his family and his other fans.

Last night I finished my first William G. Tapply book, BITCH CREEK, where I was introduced to Stoney Calhoun. Delighted to have found this author and his stories. Am saddened today to discover that Bill succumbed last year to leukemia. I truly hope there are streams, ponds and wilderness in the hereafter along with a good dog! God bless him and his legacy.

Hello. I sincerely apologize for writing my previous note BEFORE reading the website & learning of Mr. Tapply's death last year. Please accept my sincere condolences & I hope the family is doing well. I look forward to reading many of his books & am sure will enjoy them as much as I did "One Way Ticket". Take care.

We have read all the Brady Coyne novels, starting about 2 years ago, We are so sad to hear of his death - way too young. My husband knew of his father's fishing columns as he's a fly fisherman. Our prayers to the family.
