I discovered the William Tapply books only a few years ago, when he co-authored with Philip Craig. I quickly read every book. They're the greatest. How sad that there will be no more!!!!

While searching for a new Bill Tapply book I found this website and read about his death. My condolences to his family and friends, and to all of those who enjoyed his books.

I just discovered Bill as an author about a month ago. From what I gather on his guestbook page unfortunately he has passed away. The Stoney Calhoun books are even better than the Brady Coyne ones. By chance is there a fourth Stoney book at the publisher's?

Bill's books gave me so much pleasure, he seemed to have the knack of making the reader involved in the story, you were not outside looking in - if that makes sense. I am deeply saddened by his passing, he will be missed by his readers worldwide and not just by those who had the good fortune to know jim personally.

I loved all of Mr. Tapply's books and extremely saddened to just learn of his death. I look forward to his last two mysteries. RIP, you will be sorely missed.
