I just read about Bill's passing. I have read several of his books and thoroughly enjoyed them as well as the books he authored with Philip Craig. I am saddened that both of these great authors have passed on, but they have left great works behind for the rest of us.

RIP Mr. Tapply. I absolutely love reading your Brady Coyne novels. They are so well written. They bring me much joy, thank you for that. I love how you always describe what Brady is eating. Somehow this evolves his character and makes him seem even more real. Thanks again for providing me with so much reading pleasure. Glad to say I still have a few more to read!

Preparing a comment in the "Pageturners Or Doorstops?" section of StageFair on a Tapply novel I just read I discovered his passing in 2009. This saddens me for I much admired his work.

I recently picked up a shotgun for my son. It was a Savage model 220 in 20 Gauge and it came highly recommended by Mr Tappley. I was just writing to thank him. Sorry for your loss.

Just found Bill Tapply a few months ago, and, after reading 5 of his novels, I just learned of his passing. I am so sorry. I do plan to read them all. Will be saddened when there are none left!
