I'm saddened by the loss of Mr Tapply. Such a great writer, and I loved the books written with Philip Craig. This is a very big loss for everyone who cherishes a well written mystery.

I just finished reading "Dark Tiger" and was writing to thank Mr. Tapply for another great book when I read the sad news. My heart is out to the family. I have read all of Mr. Tapply's book and
although I didn't e-mail him that often he
always answered my e-mails. He will be
missed by many.

I started reading Bill's father which must of been back in the Mid fifty's, and I own one of the original Tap's Tips. Years later I read something maybe in Grey's Sporting Journal with Bill's byline and I have been reading Him since then. To steal a line "We are diminished".

Just before last Christmas I got to read my first Tapply/Brady Coyne novels and thoroughly enjoyed them. Today I just wanted to get a list of all his books and found out about his passing of last year. I am very sorry and offer his family my sincerest condolences. His books will now give me even more meaning.

Goodness - I just learned of Mr. Tapply's passing and was shocked and saddened. I met Mr. Tapply on two separate library related occasion in 2007 when he was coping with the loss of another great author and his friend, Philip R. Craig. I just remember those encounters as so recent and vibrant; it's hard to believe that this good man is gone. All my best to his family and friends.
